Advocacy at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Office of Public Policy is charged with pursuing LLS's mission through advocacy aimed at governmental decision-makers. LLS's strategic plan for 2008 to 2011 identifies advocacy as one of the organization's core avenues to achieve its mission.

Below you will find links to documents to find out what it is to be an advocacy volunteer with LLS and how to make a difference through advocacy and other opportunities for involvement.

You can meet our Legislative Advisory Committee and also find out who our allied organizations are and visit their Web sites.  Also, read the most recent and archived Advocacy Updates to keep you informed about LLS's latest accomplishments on Capitol Hill and what's been happening with advocacy at LLS on both the national and chapter levels.
